Liu Wu: Research Professor at Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He received his bachelor degree of medical science from Bethune Medical University in 1982 and PhD of anthropology from Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology in 1997. Professor Liu have been engaging his research in human evolution and related physical anthropology in the fields of evolution of Homo erectus, morphology and variations of Late Pleistocene humans in China, diversity of Middle-Late Pleistocene humans, and modern human origin.
