摘要： 为了解云南苗族的体质特征，我们于１９８７年５月间．赴昆明市禄劝苗族彝族自治县的翠华山区螳螂菁附近山寨进行了有关项目调查，并将结果整理如下，以期对云南苗族的体质人类学特征有所了解．

Abstract: This article presents anthropometric data of 108 male and 66 female of Miao nationality living in Yunnan Province. It includes the observation of the head and measurements of the head and the body. Comparison between this samle and those presented by other authors on Miao nationality living in other areas shows that this sample has shorter stature and narrower face.
