Abstract: According to the cosine law, the measuring and calculating method was used to measure twenty cranial angles which are not relative to the Frankfort Horizontal Plane. The straight distance between the three measuring points of the cranial angle is measured by sliding caliper or spreading caliper, then put the formula of the cosine law into the pocket electric calculator and calculate the value of the angle. In accordance with practical use, we found that this method is characterized by easy of grasping, simplicity of the apparatus and procedure, and speed of execution, furthermore, it is more precise with least error.
