Abstract: The oral condition of a woman belonging to the Qidan Nationality of the Liao Dynasty is reported. Besides recounting the general oral condition the occurrence of caries and periodontal disease, attrition of the teeth, and especially the dissymmetry of the mandible induced by unilaterally disposed mastication are discussed.
