Abstract: The microliths from Xueguan site were uncovered in the loess belonging to the late period of pleistocene in 1980. The types of microliths include microcores and microblades. Besides, other stone tools were scraper, point, burin and backed knife etc. The age of the cultural remains probably belong to the stage of late Paleolithic age or the early period of Mesolithic Age. This discovery provides important material to study the orgin and development of typical microlithic tradition in China.
